We created this blog to bring to light (no pun intended) all of the false propaganda being self promoted by lighting companies across the United States, trying to collect their free ARRA handout. Our company does not solicit jobs that are ARRA funded, as we honestly declare that we source some of our components in Asia. Additionally, the mainstream US lighting industry has been producing and importing commercial lighting products in Asia for over 3 decades now. This is not a recent trend. The false propaganda being self promoted by many US based lighting companies all over the internet, is to obtain ARRA funds, and it is fraud. Every one of these companies imports product from China, which is evidenced by US Custom’s import records.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with “Made in China” lighting products when purchased from quality factories such as www.jkyaming.com or http://www.lvd.cc/en/ . These two companies have been in the induction business for several years and build high quality products. In fact, the Discovery Channel did a documentary on LVD Lighting.

Over 90 percent of all induction fixtures installed in North America have induction components in them that are produced in Asia. The other 10% originate from Europe. Guess how many are produced in the USA? NONE! Almost every major component supplier of transformers in the USA purchase products from JK Yaming. In the lighting industry “Made in America” has been “Marketed in America” for years.

The ARRA should re state their wording to read “Assembled In The USA” , rather than “Made In The USA”. There is not one more job being created in the US lighting industry by the ARRA, by using the term “Made In The USA” .

If you want to purchase high quality energy efficient lighting products from a manufacturer that has been established since 1989, with UL and CSA listed products, then we are your answer. Sadly, we cannot be your vendor if ARRA funds are involved, as we do utilize some quality “Made In China” components in our products, as does every other major manufacturer in the United States, whether they claim to or not. The proof is just a click away from researching US Customs import records that are available on the internet.
